Carpe Diem

No matter how good things get, the universe will always find a way to turn the tide. Words of a cynic have never been more profoundly true. How long the good will last or when the next will wash up on shore is only a mystery, and the task of savoring every morsel while they last is left to those who seize the day.

⚓⚓⚓

I've wasted so many days of my life waiting for something more profound, when the ability to create remarkable things has always been in my reach. Its a shame to waste another day hoping for something that could easily be attained with a little passion.
As cliche as this will sound, carpe diem, everyone.
Carpe diem.

Cookiss + Creme

If in other years of THE class, they taught us how to sew or how to paint, this year the whole scheme is based on entrepreneurship. Earlier in the year, we were grouped and made to brainstorm on innovative products that would actually sell in our target market (aka the MCHS community). My group, after much much much thought, finally decided to revamp and innovate cookies, and the brand Cookiss was born! (We can all thank Pam for the name)

Innovate cookies? What ever do you mean? Well, I'm glad you asked! Basically, the idea is to mix everyone's favorite sweets into fresh batches of cookies made with a recipe so secret even I don't know what the ingredients are or how its made! You can purchase these at the calachuchi walk at Miriam College High School during recess, lunch or dismissal for php50 for 3 4" cookies! (Or if you're on a diet, you could always purchase 1 for php20)

Anyways! The poster is something I whipped up real quick just a few minutes ago because I procrastinated all weekend and forgot to do it, and we'll be posting them up in classrooms and handing them out to students tomorrow as advertisement for the actual selling on Wednesday! To whoever is reading this, I hope to see you on Wednesday at our booth!

Nostalgia

Around this time last year, the primary thing my class looked forward to was to bring hell-year to a close once and for all. Fast forward a year later and its almost like the world has been turned upside down. Instead of being anxious for summer, we're anxious for CET results. Instead of counting the days left until the school year ends, we're counting the days we have left with the school that raised us. Instead of saying goodbye to teachers we'll still be seeing the year after, we're be saying goodbye to our batch mates we practically grew up with. We're leaving home and entering the unknown.

I'm cherishing the days I have left with you, Miriam College, and of course I'm also cherishing all the dear memories you hold within your walls. These are just few of the many I hold dear.

Woohoo! I'm finally getting around to switching to blogspot. Tumblr just isn't a platform for high-resolution photos.
